About Bora Sailing

BORA SAILING is the dream of two entrepreneur friends, in love with the ocean, with the beautiful purpose of showing the beauty of sailing to the rest of the world. Come onboard and discover the magic!! The name BORA comes from Bora Bora: the island where all was ideated. Nevertheless, Bora also means: "Let's do it" in Portuguese, it's an Amazonian tribe that lives in communities and it also refers to a very powerful and respected wind in the Adriatic Sea. With Bora Sailing you will discover the basics of sailing, how living onboard feels while you visIt the most beautiful beaches of the mediterranean.

Marco Nigris

Co-Founder and Captain

This is Marco! 70% Argentinian and 30% Italian, he lives in Portugal when not sailing in Ibiza! The water is his natural habitat and he prefers when the wind is blowing. Over the past 12 years he’s sailed thousands of miles in the Atlantic, Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Pacific. When he’s not on a sailboat, he enjoys other watersports as kiting, wingfoiling, surfing and diving.

Maria Osorio

Co-Founder and Captain

Meet Maria, a free-spirited adventurer with a heart full of smiles and good vibes. Born in Asturias, María has a deep love for the ocean and an insatiable thirst for new experiences. Caring and kind, she is a lover of naps, dancing and discovering new places. She has also conquered North America and Panama, and her island vibes make her the perfect companion for any adventure on the water.

With an insatiable curiosity for the history of humankind and physics, he's always seeking to expand his knowledge and understanding of the world around him. As a captain, Fabricio is attentive and skilled at creating the perfect environment for a chill day on the water.
